This week's certified payroll, from the payroll you already ran
Drop your payroll export. Wagesheet splits overtime, checks every worker's wage and fringe against the wage determination, and prints the WH-347-format payroll with the Statement of Compliance — or California's eCPR XML. It runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How it works
- Drop this week's payroll (CSV or Excel) — or try the sample.
- Fill in the project once: week ending, payroll number, project, contractor, and paste the wage determination's rates.
- Fix what it flags, then print the certified payroll and Statement of Compliance to sign — or with Pro download California's eCPR XML, Excel or CSV.
Why Wagesheet
For contractors and subcontractors on prevailing-wage jobs — and the bookkeepers and payroll services who do their certified payrolls — who already run payroll and just need this week's certified payroll right.
From the payroll you ran
Weekly hours by day or daily timecards, from your payroll software's export or a spreadsheet. Column names are recognised automatically.
Overtime split for you
Federal 40-hour week or California's daily 8/12-hour and seventh-day rules, applied across every classification a worker had that week.
Prevailing wage check
Paste the wage determination's rates: every worker's base rate and base + fringe (plan credit and cash in lieu) checked, with the shortfall.
WH-347 format, both pages
Payroll page plus the Statement of Compliance in the form's own wording, apprenticeship and fringe benefit tables filled in. Print or save as PDF.
California eCPR XML
Pro writes the XML file DIR's certified payroll system accepts, checked against DIR's published schema before you download.
Next week is quicker
Pro saves the project, contractor and wage rates in your browser; the payroll number and week ending move on. Worker data is never saved.

FAQ
What is certified payroll?
A weekly payroll report contractors on prevailing-wage public works submit to show each worker was paid at least the required wage and fringe benefits. On federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts projects it is due for every week covered work is performed, with a signed Statement of Compliance; Form WH-347 is the Department of Labor's optional format. California public works require certified payroll records submitted electronically to DIR.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Your payroll file is read by JavaScript in your browser tab and never sent to us or anyone else. Worker data isn't stored; close the tab and it's gone. With Pro you can save the project details and wage rates (not workers) in this browser for next week.
Which files can I use?
CSV, tab-separated or Excel. One row per worker per week with hours for each day, or one row per worker per day (timecards). Rates, fringe contributions, deductions and net pay are read when present. Download the templates to see the layout; your own column names usually work.
What's free?
Every check — overtime, prevailing wage, fringe and pay math — for any number of workers, and the printed WH-347-format payroll and Statement of Compliance with up to 3 workers and a small footer. Pro prints every worker without the footer and adds California eCPR XML, Excel and CSV downloads and a saved project.
Will my agency accept it?
Federal rules allow the weekly payroll on the optional WH-347 or any format with the same information, with a signed Statement of Compliance; Wagesheet's page 2 uses the WH-347 wording. Your contracting agency or prime contractor decides what it accepts, so check with them. For California, the XML validates against DIR's published schema but you upload and certify it yourself.
Does it replace payroll software?
No. Wagesheet doesn't calculate taxes, pay anyone or file anything. It takes the payroll you already ran, checks it against the wage determination and lays it out as a certified payroll for you to review, sign and submit.
